The Venezuelan Government protects the country's biodiversity as well as its economic resources but there are still many wildlife management issues, including: cattle ranching, agricultural expansion and chemicals, logging, oil and gas exploration, and invasive grasses. Global environmental groups are key drivers of the country's environmental protections policies and scientific research.
