I am so pleased you are all following along... and I apologize for the delay in getting more photos and blog posts online. I am on the move a lot... but I think I can catch up over the next few days... so please keep posted! And... say hello to the class for me!

Cheers

Danny
Mon, 19 Feb 2007 17:28:48 -0800 Danny Catt comment 130 at http://blogs.bcit.ca/catttrax2 Digital Camera ... not to be found! http://blogs.bcit.ca/catttrax2/blog/weathernetwork#comment-129
Hi and thanks for your kind note. In terms of the digital camera... the camera was never retrieved... someone in Cusco has the camera... or perhaps it was sold the next day. The lesson from that experience was to take very good care of my own equipment!! So far so good. Thanks again for saying hello and feel free to send another hello somewhere along the journey.

Cheers

Danny
Mon, 19 Feb 2007 17:25:19 -0800 Danny Catt comment 129 at http://blogs.bcit.ca/catttrax2 Thanks Jessie :) http://blogs.bcit.ca/catttrax2/blog/weathernetwork#comment-128
I really appreciate your note and kind words... for some reason I did not see your comments (or the others on this page) until today! I am now on the coast of Brazil and it is my hope to get caught up on the blog posts in the next few days... then all will be up to date. In terms of your question about climate change, most certainly there is discussion about it ... but I have not been able to get an idea of the overall level of understanding and concern amongst local folks... I will keep you posted as best I can.

I hope all is going well back home... and please do say hello again when you can. I am sure the flowers are about to emerge back in Vancouver.... here on the coast of Brazil it is hot!!

Keep in touch.

Danny :)
Mon, 19 Feb 2007 17:21:37 -0800 Danny Catt comment 128 at http://blogs.bcit.ca/catttrax2 What an adventure! http://blogs.bcit.ca/catttrax2/blog/weathernetwork#comment-81
Hey Danny!

I've read through your journey so far and it really sounds like an amazing adventure. Emphasizing on Jessie's comment, everyone here back in FWR is very much enjoying following your trip through South America. Great job on that interview as well! Keep the pictures coming!

Jillian

Wed, 07 Feb 2007 15:36:58 -0800 Jillian Stewart comment 81 at http://blogs.bcit.ca/catttrax2 Way to go!! http://blogs.bcit.ca/catttrax2/blog/weathernetwork#comment-78
Danny! good job with the site! I think that it is really cool to try and make people aware of the harm we are doing to the environment. By the way, did the person who lost the digi- cam ever find his camera?

From: Crusaiden
Wed, 07 Feb 2007 14:42:23 -0800 Crusaiden comment 78 at http://blogs.bcit.ca/catttrax2 Way to go!! http://blogs.bcit.ca/catttrax2/blog/weathernetwork#comment-79
Danny! good job with the site! TV interviews are anything but easy, and you were terrific! Are you finding the same concern for climate change, and its ecological effects, in South America as in Canada, specifically B.C.? This seemingly increased level of concern may be due in part to some recent, and well deserved, media attention. We (i.e. 1st year FWR) are all very much enjoying following along with your pictures, stories, and articles, so keep them coming! Thank you for letting us all be a part of your amazing journey.

All the best!

Jessie
Wed, 07 Feb 2007 06:54:33 -0800 Jessie Kleeberger comment 77 at http://blogs.bcit.ca/catttrax2 See Danny's Weather Network Interview http://blogs.bcit.ca/catttrax2/blog/weathernetwork
Oga Nwobosi, a Weather Network journalist, interviewed Danny Catt, Scott Watts, and Daniel Joaquin, team members of Catt-Trax2, on December 21, 2006, a few days before Danny left for South America.
