In Bolivia there are 1,350 species of birds, twenty-eight of which are endangered. Also, Bolivia has 17,367 higher plants and seventy of them are endangered. Of 316 mammals, twenty-four are endangered. And Bolivia has 400 reptiles and amphibians, three of which are endangered.</p> <p>An international list of endangered mammals is put out by the IUCN.
