I have recently returned from Antarctica and I am trying to catch up with posts and uploading photos etc. I am really pleased that you are following along and I hope you will enjoy some of the new penguin pics (from Antarctica) which will be up soon. At the colony in southern Chile (the pictures you are referring to) visitors are not permitted to get close to the penguins (there is a boardwalk and/or trail that you must stay on). There are also signs indicating that visitors must not disturb the penguins as they go about their routine (tromping across the beach and grass to feed and take care of their chick). The photos make it appear I was really close to them, but that is where a good telephoto lens helps immensely! Thanks again for your hello... and do send more questions if any come to mind.

Cheers

Danny
Tue, 20 Mar 2007 12:56:35 -0700 Danny Catt comment 205 at http://blogs.bcit.ca/catttrax2 Thanks Hannah http://blogs.bcit.ca/catttrax2/node/354#comment-204
Hello Hannah!

Thank you for your message. I will definitely do an internet search as you suggest to see more photos related to the Incas. I have just returned from a visit to Antarctica so I apologize for the delay in getting a message to you. I hope your project on the Incas was a great success (I assume you have it done by now). Keep posted as I will add more photos and post soon about my journey to Antarctica.

Cheers, Danny
Tue, 20 Mar 2007 12:50:53 -0700 Danny Catt comment 204 at http://blogs.bcit.ca/catttrax2 Dear Mr. Catt,We are the http://blogs.bcit.ca/catttrax2/node/354#comment-167

Dear Mr. Catt,

We are the COAST class blogging together today. What an adventure you are having! I liked your piece on Global Warming. I am going to pick up a book by Ross Gelbspan called Heat. It's supposed to be an eye opener and we can always learn more about what's happening to our planet.

Check out this documentary on Global Dimming that was sent to me. I was amazed... http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/article15809.htm

I am doing well, keeping busy and out of trouble. Danny are you checking your personal email at all through your travels? Just curious, I wanted to send you some photos since you've been more than generous to share all of your wonderful photos with me and everyone that is following your travels.

Talk with you soon.

All the best,

Laura

Sat, 17 Feb 2007 19:18:12 -0800 Laura comment 119 at http://blogs.bcit.ca/catttrax2
