Hi Danny!

Great interview! TV interviews are anything but easy, and you were terrific! Are you finding the same concern for climate change, and its ecological effects, in South America as in Canada, specifically B.C.? This seemingly increased level of concern may be due in part to some recent, and well deserved, media attention. We (i.e. 1st year FWR) are all very much enjoying following along with your pictures, stories, and articles, so keep them coming! Thank you for letting us all be a part of your amazing journey.

All the best!

Jessie

I really appreciate your note and kind words... for some reason I did not see your comments (or the others on this page) until today! I am now on the coast of Brazil and it is my hope to get caught up on the blog posts in the next few days... then all will be up to date. In terms of your question about climate change, most certainly there is discussion about it ... but I have not been able to get an idea of the overall level of understanding and concern amongst local folks... I will keep you posted as best I can.

I hope all is going well back home... and please do say hello again when you can. I am sure the flowers are about to emerge back in Vancouver.... here on the coast of Brazil it is hot!!

Keep in touch.

Danny :)

Danny! good job with the site! I think that it is really cool to try and make people aware of the harm we are doing to the environment. By the way, did the person who lost the digi- cam ever find his camera?

Hi and thanks for your kind note. In terms of the digital camera... the camera was never retrieved... someone in Cusco has the camera... or perhaps it was sold the next day. The lesson from that experience was to take very good care of my own equipment!! So far so good. Thanks again for saying hello and feel free to send another hello somewhere along the journey.

Cheers

Danny

I've read through your journey so far and it really sounds like an amazing adventure. Emphasizing on Jessie's comment, everyone here back in FWR is very much enjoying following your trip through South America. Great job on that interview as well! Keep the pictures coming!
